“Evidence + ethics” is pretty much my life motto in everything I do. As a teacher, a citizen, and a person with online influence, I am committed to research and critical analysis in order to inform my positions on a wide array of topics. Even if I have come to a firm position based on credible evidence, it is so important to interact with people who disagree with you with a code of ethics. Increasingly, these people are online, where ethics tend to disintegrate at an alarming rate. This motto helps to remind me who I want to be, both online and in real life interactions.
